So here it is, Nyr's birthday contest has finally come to an end and I can say I had a hell of a time judging. Here it is.

My Reasoning:
Okay, to start things off, none of these choices were easy. I felt 1st and 2nd place stood out the most so I will go over why I chose them.
1st place looks incredible. The attention to detail, the almost CGI appearance is phenomenal. It is very sexy, with realistic, yet true to the character appearance. This piece looks very professional and the artist must have put their all into it. Making this kind of art runs the risk of having the 'uncanny valley effect' but the artist kept the faces very likable.

2nd Place was almost tied with 1st. I can't explain how much I love the background of this drawing. The skull serpents are a re imagining of Nyr's  incense demons and everything here looks to fit in well. Rin's body art and clothing have been spectacularly re imagined as well and it fits amazingly. This piece is great in creativity and has a great overall appearance.

So why did I choose these? Honestly I couldn't. I handed this decision off to the backup judges who are less biased then myself (I created these characters so I hold all the biases haha). After a couple minutes they came to the conclusion the Rin and Nyr drawing gets first place.

Now third place. This drawing has been killing me since I first saw it. It reveals a little but really makes me want to see more. This was well done and the fact it is a gif just makes it better with the unbelievably cute face! Well done.

I love all of the entries submitted by you guys and you are all awesome. This contest was a huge success and I will be sure to let you all know if I do decide to host another contest. Any feedback will be appreciated, who knows, maybe I will increase the total prize money as well as add a 4th and a 5th place.
